Transportation

Visitors have many options getting to campus. Public transportation (Metrobus, Metrorail, and the D.C. Circulator bus) is recommended due to traffic congestion. The Georgetown University Transportation Shuttle (GUTS) offers free shuttles from various locations in the City. If you live in Maryland or Virginia, the Maryland Transit Authority (MTA) or Arlington Transit (ART) systems may better serve you.
