Transportation

There are many options for getting to the Hilltop Campus. Public transportation (Metrorail/Metrobus) is recommended due to traffic congestion. The Georgetown University Transportation Shuttle (GUTS) offers free transit to the Hilltop Campus, home of Georgetown University Medical Center, from the Metrorail stations at Dupont Circle (Red Line – connect to Dupont Circle Shuttle) and Rosslyn (Blue, Orange and Silver lines – connect to Rosslyn Shuttle).

Georgetown’s new Capitol Campus is accessible from the Hilltop Campus via GUTS’ Capitol Campus Shuttle, and is a short walk from Metrorail stations at Gallery Place/Chinatown (Green, Red and Yellow lines), Judiciary Square (Red Line), or Union Station (Red Line). GUTS also runs shuttles to the nearby Metro stations; Gallery Place/Chinatown and Judiciary Square are served by the Gallery Place Loop Shuttle, and Union Station by the Union Station Loop Shuttle.

If you live in Maryland or Virginia, the Maryland Transit Authority (MTA) or Arlington Transit (ART) systems may serve you.
