Georgetown Continues Strong Growth in NIH-Supported Research Training

Six NIH T32 institutional training grants led by Georgetown University Medical Center investigators have received new or competitively renewed funding in summer 2026, strengthening Georgetown’s support for the development of the next generation of biomedical and health researchers in School of Medicine doctoral programs.

BGE Pulse Podcast: Zoe Aziz (G’19), Systems Medicine Alumna and Nurse Practitioner

Welcome to BGE Pulse, a podcast with members of the Georgetown University Biomedical Graduate Education (BGE) community! This episode, Digital Communications Assistant Benjamin Nochimson (G’27) speaks with Zoe Aziz, a 2019 graduate of the M.S. in Systems Medicine program. Zoe is a nurse practitioner currently working in inpatient breast/gynecological medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. Through the course of the conversation, Zoe shares insights about what brought her to Georgetown, the support and opportunities she received at Georgetown, and how she has used her education to become an effective clinical provider.
