Federal Academic Alliance

BGE is proud to be an institutional partner of the Federal Academic Alliance program. Through this program, BGE provides scholarships to eligible federal employees across the country as part of the U.S. Office of Personnel Management’s effort to address critical skills gaps in mission-critical occupations.

George Mason University

Fairfax, Virginia

George Mason University and Georgetown University offer the Advanced Biomedical Sciences Certificate through an academic partnership known as GeorgeSquared. The certificate offers an outstanding biomedical sciences curriculum that enhances students’ applications to professional schools in the biomedical field.

Hunter College of the City University of New York

New York City

Hunter College is a public university and one of the constituent colleges of the City University of New York (CUNY). Hunter College trains students to become leaders and innovators in their community through cross-disciplinary learning in the liberal arts and sciences. BGE has partnered with Hunter College to build upon this interdisciplinary training in critical thinking and evidence-based inquiry by providing advanced degree opportunities in the biomedical sciences. Partial tuition scholarships are available.

Washington College

Chestertown, Maryland

Washington College is a liberal arts college founded in 1782 and located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. The college is committed to providing a rigorous, engaging liberal arts education to its students. BGE has partnered with Washington College to encourage students to specialize in a biomedical science topic through higher education and to pursue a career in the field of biomedical sciences. Partial tuition scholarships are available.

Fu Jen Catholic University

New Taipei, Taiwan

Fu Jen Catholic University is a leading private higher education institution in Taiwan that fosters the growth of the whole person through holistic education and care for students. BGE has partnered with Fu Jen Catholic University to engage in cooperative educational activities. Partial tuition scholarships are available.

Fu Jen Catholic University School of Medicine

New Taipei, Taiwan

Fu Jen Catholic University School of Medicine was founded in 2000 to cultivate future physicians in becoming true professionals with the medical knowledge and clinical expertise that complement the core values of Catholic belief. The establishment of the School of Medicine has allowed Fu Jen Catholic University to become the third comprehensive university in Taiwan to provide medical education. BGE and the School of Medicine at Fu Jen Catholic University have partnered to offer an M.D./M.S. dual degree program for qualified students. Partial tuition scholarships are available for Fu Jen School of Medicine students.

Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology

Chennai, India

Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology is an accredited Grade ‘A’ University in Chennai, India, that imparts knowledge in the areas of engineering, science, technology and education. BGE has partnered with Sathyabama to promote and facilitate international cooperation in education, research and summer research internship opportunities offered through the Georgetown University Medical Center’s Dean for Research office. Partial tuition scholarships are available.

Southern Medical University (SMU)

Guangzhou, China

Southern Medical University (SMU), formerly known as the First Military Medical University, is one of China’s top universities. It features a multidisciplinary learning system with medicine as the hub, supported by science, engineering, law, management, literature, linguistics and pedagogy. BGE and SMU partner in the areas of faculty exchange, research collaborations and partial tuition scholarships.

United International College (UIC)

Zhuhai, China

United International College (UIC) was founded jointly by Beijing Normal University and Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU). It is the first full-scale cooperation in higher education between the Mainland and Hong Kong. The education philosophy of UIC is unique in China, focusing on “Whole-Person Education,” “Four-Point Education,” “Global Outlook” and “General Education.” BGE and UIC work closely together to support UIC students enrolled in Georgetown graduate programs and continue to collaborate together in the areas of education and teaching. Partial tuition scholarships are offered as part of the partnership.

GU-NIH Graduate Partnership Program

The Georgetown University-National Institutes of Health (GU-NIH) Graduate Partnership Program in Biomedical Sciences allows graduate students to explore all areas of biomedical research with experts from both research institutions. BGE Ph.D. programs currently participating in the partnership include:
