Health Disparities Research Director Lucile Adams-Campbell Receives 2026 AACI Cancer Health Equity Award

Lucile Adams-Campbell, PhD, associate director for minority health and health disparities research and senior associate dean for community outreach and engagement at Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, is the recipient of the Association of American Cancer Institutes’ 2026 Cancer Health Equity Award. The award recognizes individuals or groups who demonstrate exceptional leadership in promoting health equity at their cancer center. Adams-Campbell, founding director of the Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer Prevention and Distinguished University Professor at Georgetown, will receive the award at the 2026 AACI/CCAF Annual Meeting in Chicago this October.

Adams-Campbell is the director of the Epidemiology Program, which joined Biomedical Graduate Education in July 2026, and a faculty member of the Tumor Biology Program.
