Please contact the program director of the biomedical graduate program you are applying to if you wish to submit an application after the deadline. Late applications are reviewed on a space available basis.

Biomedical Graduate Education requires that all applicants submit his or her entire application -- including all recommendations -- via the online application system. Only transcripts and test scores should be submitted independently. Biomedical Graduate Education strongly suggests that all applicants submit all required credentials and supporting documentation no later than the posted application deadlines. Applications are reviewed on a rolling, space available basis.

General Application Requirements

Because of the high scientific study and rigorous academic environment of our biomedical programs, applicants are expected to attain at least a cumulative 3.0 GPA during their undergraduate study. This record should be supported by strong GRE scores and strong recommendations that indicate that the applicant is capable of performing successfully at the graduate level.

    TOEFL / IELTS Examination

    All applicants who did not receive an undergraduate degree or higher from a school where English was the primary language of instruction must submit either a TOEFL/IELTS score. The minimum TOEFL score for admission is 550 (paper test) and 80 (Internet-based test) unless otherwise specified by the program. The minimum IELTS score for admission is 7.0. Biomedical Graduate Education TOEFL Code is B191 (For more information, see: Proof of English Language Proficiency Guidelines).
