Ryan is from Standish, Michigan. Before coming to Georgetown Biomedical Graduate Education, he earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan.
Tell us about the scholarship you received. How did you get it?
I earned this merit-based scholarship upon entering into the GU SMP program.
What led you to pursue graduate studies?
I have pursued graduate studies at Georgetown University as part of the record-enhancing Special Master’s of Physiology program, where I am gaining vital experience before ultimately progressing onto medical school.
What is your academic focus? What sparked your interest in it?
My interest in academics was sparked by my desire to pursue a career in medicine, learning many about many topics critical to aspiring physicians.
What do you want to do after earning your degree?
After receiving my M.S., I intend to continue my higher education at an M.D. medical school, where I will receive training as a physician.
