Leave of Absence for Master’s Students
BGE programs follow the BGE Handbook for all types of leaves of absence. Below is an overview of the process for each type.
Leave Types
Personal Leave
- Request Deadline: Submit the form by the end of the Add/Drop period.

Medical Leave

Military Leave
- Request Deadline: Contact BGE Academic Affairs as soon as possible after receiving military orders that require you to withdraw from a course or program.

Parental Leave
- Request Deadline: Submit your request to BGE Academic Affairs at least 3 months before your planned leave start date.
