M.S. in Physiology

The intensive one-year, non-thesis Master of Science in Physiology is the launching point for a successful application to medical school, dental school, allied health programs or Ph.D. studies. Our students have earned undergraduate degrees in a diverse range of disciplines, mostly but not exclusively in the sciences.

This program trains students to objectively assess the safe practice and efficacy of various complementary and integrative medicine (CIM) modalities and introduce scientific rigor into understanding the mechanistic basis for CIM therapies such as acupuncture, massage, herbs and supplements, and mind-body interactions.

Offered through our GSquared program in partnership with George Mason University, the Graduate Certificate in Advanced Biomedical Sciences offers an outstanding biomedical sciences curriculum to enhance your background for application to professional schools in the biomedical field.
