M.S. in Physiology & Biophysics

The intensive one-year, non-thesis Master of Science in Physiology & Biophysics is the launching point for a successful application to medical school, dental school, allied health programs or Ph.D. studies. Our students have earned undergraduate degrees in a diverse range of disciplines, mostly but not exclusively in the sciences.

This program trains students to objectively assess the safe practice and efficacy of various complementary and integrative medicine (CIM) modalities and introduce scientific rigor into understanding the mechanistic basis for CIM therapies such as acupuncture, massage, herbs and supplements, and mind-body interactions.
