Biomedical Graduate Education is proud to foster a culture of service among our students and alumni. We are pleased to announce that we are an education partner with the Segal AmeriCorps Education Award.
Recipients of the full-time Segal AmeriCorps Education Award will receive a 100% matching scholarship in the first semester they are enrolled. Students must be registered full time in an eligible BGE master’s program and must not have used their Education Award in order to receive the scholarship.
The Segal AmeriCorps Education Awardapplication is due 14 days after confirming your intent to enroll in an eligible master’s program. For example, if you confirm your intent to enroll on the 1st of the month, you must submit your scholarship application by midnight on the 15th of the month.
Submit the online application to an eligible BGE master’s program.
In the online application under the Application Details section, please select “AmeriCorps Volunteer” from the menu in response to this question: Are you affiliated with or are you applying in conjunction with an organization or program listed below?
Be admitted and confirm your intention to enroll.
Submit the Segal AmeriCorps Education Award Scholarship BGE Matching Scholarship Application within two weeks of confirming your intention to enroll in an eligible program. In this application, you will need to upload your Service Verification Letter and your Education Award Payment Request within two weeks of confirming your intention to enroll in an eligible program. To download your Service Verification Letter, log-in to the My AmeriCorps Portal and click on the link for Service Letters. If you need help logging in, do not have a Portal account, or there is a problem of any kind with your service letter, call the AmeriCorps National Service Hotline at 1-800-942-2677.
