About Dante
Dante Menon is from Montreal, Quebec.
How do you approach challenges in your life?
I treat challenges as sources of information rather than obstacles. With patience and clarity, I stay long enough to learn what they’re asking of me.
What experiences or goals led you to pursue graduate studies?
I reached a point where I wanted to engage with ideas more deeply rather than simply execute tasks. Graduate study provided the structure to question assumptions, refine my thinking, and grow with intention.
Why did you choose your program at Georgetown BGE for your graduate studies?
I chose the Biochemistry & Molecular Biology program because I wanted training centered on understanding why biological systems behave the way they do. Being part of a Hoya network that includes top minds in medicine, law, business, and politics creates daily opportunities to learn, collaborate, and contribute beyond the lab.
What advice would you give to future BGE students?
Use the program’s collaborative culture fully. Talk to people outside your lab, ask questions, and share what you’re learning. The relationships you build at Georgetown will shape your experience as much as the science.
