Tuition Discounts for Current and Former Federal Workers
Keep Working Toward a Healthier Future
Biomedical Graduate Education at Georgetown University is dedicated to advancing human health and well-being, and has a long history of educating civil servants who work toward the same goal. Now, as many government workers find their careers disrupted by layoffs and other changes, we want to offer additional support to those whose next step is to further their education with a graduate degree.
If you are currently working as a federal civil government employee or contractor, or if you separated from federal civil service at any time since April 1, 2024, you qualify for an application fee waiver and 10% tuition discount for a BGE master’s degree program – from lab science to statistics, from biotech to biodefense, from pre-medical to personalized medicine and more.
Prospective students indicate their eligibility for this tuition discount through the graduate application form. If you have any questions regarding the discount, please contact bgestudentservices@georgetown.edu.
