Transportation

There are many options for getting to campus. Public transportation (Metrobus, Metrorail and the DC Circulator bus) is recommended due to traffic congestion. The Georgetown University Transportation Shuttle (GUTS) offers free transit from the Metrorail stations at Dupont Circle (Red Line) and Rosslyn (Blue and Orange lines) to campus. If you live in Maryland or Virginia, the Maryland Transit Authority (MTA) or Arlington Transit (ART) systems may serve you.
