Biomedical Graduate Education offers four graduate-level certificate programs. These programs are designed to supplement and build on the knowledge of working professionals who desire additional training in the areas below.
 

  • Certificate in Advanced Biomedical Sciences
    Offers an outstanding biomedical sciences curriculum to enhance your background for application to professional schools in the biomedical field. This certificate is offered through our G Squared program.
     
  • Online Certificate in Biohazardous Threat Agents and Emerging Infectious Diseases
    Focuses on microbiology of CDC Category A through C biothreat agents, eg. smallpox, plague, anthrax, tularemia, and Ebola; sociological prospective on biodefense; bioterrorism; homeland security, preparedness, response and capacity to CBRNE threats; and community resilience.
     
  • Certificate in Biostatistics
    Provides integrated training in computational, quantitative, and biomedical sciences to support health-related research performed in academia, government and industry.
     
  • Certificate in Clinical & Translational Research
    Provides training in the foundational skills of Clinical and Translational Research in helping students become well-versed in foundational aspects of research methods as well as essential clinical research methods.
     
  • Certificate in Epidemiology
    Through integrated training in the computational, quantitative, and biomedical sciences, students will enhance their expertise, and prepare for other professional degrees.
