After careful consideration, Georgetown University has decided that it will be necessary to postpone Commencement activities to a time in which we can safely convene as a community. We will be communicating updates as we determine how to proceed.
|7:30 am||Graduating students report to assigned room locations in White-Gravenor Hall and Intercultural Center (ICC) (allow time for transportation, traffic jams, parking, and walking to your lineup rooms). Students should report to their assigned rooms no later than 7:30 am. The assigned rooms will be announced in late April/early May.
Students are put in alphabetical order by their program, given hooding instructions, and given name cards at this time. Lineup commences shortly afterward.
|8:35 am||Graduating students process information to Healy Lawn (Rain Site: McDonough Arena).|
|9:00 am||Graduate School of Arts & Sciences and Biomedical Graduate Education Commencement Ceremony begins.
Tickets are not required for Commencement. Seating will be available on a first come, first seated basis. When Commencement Ceremony concludes, please make sure that you and your guests move away from Healy Lawn.
