The Office of Biomedical Graduate Education offers most doctoral students with assistantship/fellowship awards that include tuition, stipend, and student health insurance along with mandatory fees. The primary purpose of this financial assistance is to support qualified graduate students in the pursuit of their academic careers and the timely completion of their Graduate School degrees. Conditions of this award include continued satisfactory academic progress towards the graduate degree. Ph.D. students are required to be enrolled full-time as a condition of their award. 

How to Accept Your Award

Note to International Students

International students must hold a visa status that permits them to receive the award. Awards will not be given to students who are ineleigible based on visa status. Those holding a valid F-1 or J-1 status sponsored by Georgetown University are eligible for any of the awards offered by the Office of Biomedical Graduate Education.
