About Samantha
Samantha Weiss is from Takoma Park, Maryland. Before coming to Georgetown’s Biomedical Graduate Education, Samantha studied Mathematics at Smith College.
Why did you choose Biomedical Graduate Education at Georgetown University?
I wanted a rigorous program and the focus areas of the biostatistics department matched my interests. The extensive opportunities to participate in research appealed to me.
What do you hope to accomplish here at Georgetown and/or what is your interest in biomedical research or graduate studies?
I hope to gain the skills necessary to become a biostatistician and further improve the field of transplant medicine.
What is your life motto for overcoming challenges and/or supporting diversity and cultural understanding?
